Poynton Coppice: Meeting place and Time

Our next walk is taking place in Poynton - We'll be taking a walk around Poynton Coppice, which is around 6.4km (4 miles). If you are bringing your four legged friend, note there are stiles on this walk.

We'll meet up at Nelson’s Pit Visitor Centre / Car Park, Higher Poynton, Macclesfield, SK12 1TH. There's also a pub at the end for those who want to grab a bite to eat: The Boar’s Head https://www.boars-head.co.uk/food/
The pub serves a lunch menu of traditional pub grub for between £9-£11 per meal. Parking is about £2.50 for 3 hours and you can pay by cash / contactless or using the PayByPhone app.

Our walk on this occasion is being hosted by Claire Leggat who is squeezing in leading the walk before teaching a yoga class, hence starting a little earlier at 10!

What happens?
We all meet and do some quick introductions and then set off. Gary will bring along some supervision cards, so if people fancy using the time for some peer supervision, the cards can offer you a nice way to reflect on your practice.
​
The event is free (unless you fancy some refreshments from the pub after!). Our walks are an informal meet up with other Coaching Professionals.

Anyone who works as a Coach, Executive Coach, Leadership Coach, Life Coach, Coaching Psychologist or any other name we find that suits our practice!

This is not an intended to be a formal organised activity - It's a free, informal event bringing together some likeminded people and as such, everyone walks taking full responsibility for themselves, their safety, comfort and enjoyment.
What to bring?
Whilst the walk isn't technical and is entirely along footpaths, it can get muddy, so I'd recommend walking boots for the puddles and a waterproof in case it rains and sunscreen if it's sunny.
